Hallo, I am simulating a CHP system with district heating, I already know the annual heat demand and I input this value in the software. However, in the simulation result I only get around 80 % of energy demand being met from the radiators (Energie vom Konvektoren in the picture). The rest from heat recovery and energy deficit (which I do not know what exactly it is).

Since the heat demand is already after the possible heat recovery, Can someone suggest me how to simulate the system with the exact heat demand from the building i.e. without any heat recovery/deficit.

Thanks :)

Hi, if there is a discrepancy between entered heating demand in Polysun and the energy taken from convectors it could be that choosen building model is not suitable according used template. To get similare results you need to change the building models.
If you choose the physiscal, complex model (energy demand know =no) then you should respect that in heating /cooling controller the setting "Activation of the heating loop" should be approx. 20 C°. Or if you use the building modell degree hours the critical value within the heating /cooling controller is "temperature shift" it means to increase the inlet temperature of the heating & cooling elements.
Hope my remarks are helpfull.
